A large pyramid has been discovered underwater between the islands of Terceira and São Miguel, which are part of the archipelago of the Azores. At an approximate height of 60 meters, the structure boasts an area of 8000 square meters. The finding of a pyramid in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean could reignite the debate around the existence of Atlantis, since there have been numerous postulations that the Azores could be the possible location of the mythical island.

The discovery was carried out accidentally by Diocleciano Silva, an experienced recreational sailor, who was searching for fishing banks in the region when he came across a structure with abnormal features not found in nature, such as straight lines. Since the discovery in April of 2013, Mr. Silva debated whether he should notify the authorities of a finding, that once confirmed, could have significant historical repercussions. The coordinates have since been submitted to the Portuguese authorities for further investigation.
Upon closer inspection of the data, and as pointed out by Mr. Silva, the vertices of the pyramid are perfectly aligned with true north, like the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt.
The recent finding in Portuguese waters has not yet been confirmed official authorities, but further investigation by the navy and researchers may reveal details that challenge what is considered fact in today's geography and history textbooks.

Unless the area is restricted (which would drive conspiracy theorists over the top lol) by the Portuguese Navy or others....then I don't understand why someone, anyone, an ordinary Joe so to speak, go dive the spot, instead of waiting on some "researcher" that see's only what they want to see, or want the world to see/know. The coordinates can be found in many places online. Also..I'd question locals, fisherman to be exact. They'd know if their nets get caught on things and exactly where.

A couple of amateur archaeologist had heard rumors of this "mythical city Dwarka", and it's location. However it was under the sea so no one had ever believed it to have existed. The guys started asking locals, and it's the fishermen who gave them all the info they needed. THEY FOUND DWARKA. NOT a "Mythical City" at all. Did the world hear much about it? NO

One of the discoverer's wanted to return but was denied. He said that India was so embarrassed that THEY didn't find it, they refuse to let outside archaeologists or ANYONE other than their own, in to study the place.

As stated above in the article, actual proof of this pyramid...even a nice underwater photo/video of it, would throw history upside down. We'd have to rewrite it, in fact it needs rewriting now, since we know for certain, Columbus DID NOT "discover America" 9which they STILL TEACH IN SCHOOL- OMG) and that man has been here at least 14k yrs. (think Gobekli Tepi) and there's soo much more. History is so wrong about so many things. It needs refined from time to time anyway. They update other school books, i.e. chemistry, physics, sciences in general, as long as it fits with the social norm. However you can get away with thinking all kinds of strange things if you pursue theoretical physics ;)

My apologies, I went on a rant and lost sight of the topic. The coordinates for this pyramid are online, in many places. The "top" is supposedly only 40 ft. down, a free diver could do that, let alone regular scuba gear. To go deeper, one might require re-breathers or sophisticated equipment, a mini sub. Of course those things are not something the ordinary Joe has on hand.

However anyone can free dive or for that matter scuba dive. It's actually really easy. I had 2 lessons in a swimming pool and I was off. If I had the money, I'd go and investigate it my damn self. I want to know, the WORLD WANTS TO KNOW dammit. It's either there, or it isn't or it's something totally diff. We won't know "for sure" until someone goes there. I'll take donations to fund a trip to get me to the island and rent some gear and off I'd go. I would not stop til I knew for sure it's there or not. Any takers? lol I didn't think so :)

So until we know for sure, all we get are the same ole lines in every article on the net. There's just no information on this out there. WHY?
